Experience includes data analysis, phenomenology and numerical modeling for space science and defense applications. Analysis of data from Earth and interplanetary satellites including Midcourse Space Experiment (MSX), Defense Meteorological Satellite Program  (DMSP), Delta 180 / 181 and Delta Star, Polar satellite, the Polar Beacon and Auroral Remote Sensing (Polar BEAR) satellite, the Interplanetary Monitoring Platform (IMP), Voyager (I & II), and Cassini. Development of models of the Earth, Jovian, and Saturnian magnetospheres.  Calibrations of short wavelength sensors and processing of data from various satellite missions including imagers, spectrographs, particle detectors, and magnetometer. Recent interests include polar mesospheric clouds and meteors observed by MSX spectrographic imagers, auroral phenomena observed by the global auroral imagers, correlations of imaging observations with precipitating charged particles and various geomagnetic indices, and ionospheric effects on operational systems such as radars and global positioning system. Emphasis on analysis of charged particle and neutral particle data from the MIMI instrument on the Cassini mission to Saturn.  Analyses also includes data from Cassini magnetometer, radio plasma wave instrument, and ultraviolet spectrometer.
