Ms. Kusterer has been a science operation center (SOC) coordinator for Parker Solar Probe, SOC Lead and Ground System lead for multiple spacecraft instruments. She has an extensive background in multi-platform analysis, processing pipeline and science planning software design, development, automation, maintenance, documentation, data production and science team support as well as conducting team meetings and managing software development. Experience includes developing and operating science operations centers for the NASA missions of CASSINI/MIMI, IMAGE/HENA, New Horizons/PEPSSI and now Europa Clipper/PIMS. She has had an active role in spacecraft instrument operations, training and operations site administration.

2019 Current Europa Clipper PIMS Instrument Science Operations Center Lead Responsible for coordination of science planning, instrument commanding, and data pipeline.
2011 Current Parker Solar Probe Science Operation Center Coordinator Ms. Kusterer is currently a science operation center coordinator (SOC) where she conducts ongoing meetings for the instruments and spacecraft personnel, participates in design and implementation of a science planning tool which is used to optimize instrument data collection over limited data downlink opportunities and has a lead role in coordinating the development of the Science Planning process.
2006 2018 New Horizons PEPSSI Instrument Ground Software Engineer Responsible for design and implementation of the PEPSSI Instrument Team website. Work with scientists to design and prototype instrument data analysis tools.
2000 2016 IMAGE HENA Instrument Ground Software Lead Responsible for the planning, designing, implementation, automation and maintenance of the software system, which is used to display, analyze and distribute the processed data of Earth's magnetosphere from the HENA instrument on the Image Satellite. System operated on multiple Unix/Linux platforms. Created and maintain HENA web site.
1996 2019 Cassini MIMI Instrument Ground Software Lead Cassini Satellite, MIMI Instrument Lead Ground Software Engineer. Responsible for generating requirements, designing, implementing, automating and maintaining the software system used to decode, process, calibrate, display, analyze, monitor instrument health and safety and distribute the raw telemetry data of Saturn's magnetosphere from the MIMI instrument on the Cassini Satellite.
