The Hypervelocity Gun Weapon System Workshop (HGWS) is a forum for the presentation and discussion of current and new technologies towards the advancement of HGWS technology, including super-velocity conventional guns, electromagnetic launchers, and hypervelocity projectiles. This annual gathering of our research community also serves to document the latest technical progress towards this revolutionary, new capability for gun-based defensive and offensive missions.
This is a classified workshop, providing a unique opportunity to present and discuss technology developments with the larger team in the proper setting. This year's program will include technical presentations and posters, technical papers, and invited talks that span the multiple HGWS-related programs. This workshop provides the opportunity for interaction amongst the DoD & DoE labs, University, and DoD Contractor HGWS community. The event will consist of a combination of oral presentations and poster sessions at the Distribution D, limited-access unclassified (DoD and DoD contractors) and classified (U.S. SECRET) levels. Only program personnel with an active security clearance are permitted to attend.
Workshop attendance is by invitation only. An active U.S. Secret security clearance is required for attendance.REGISTER
